This print ad for Midas brake service received honours from The One Show, Communication Arts and several Canadian shows.
This subway poster had no printed words. However, there were speakers mounted behind the poster, and when the red button was pressed, the following words were heard:
“You might have noticed that this poster has no printed words. That’s because millions of Canadians would have trouble reading them. That’s right. Over five million Canadian adults have trouble with basic reading, writing and math. To find out more, look in the Yellow Pages under ‘Literacy.’ This message brought to you by the ABC Literacy Foundation.”
The poster won a place in the Communication Arts Advertising Annual, plus a Silver Pencil in The One Show.
A spot in German that ran on English-language TV to advertise the crazy mashup that was Timex’ new Combo watch.
This was creative produced to pitch Jackson-Triggs Winery. We didn’t win the business, but we sure liked the posters.
This spot was part of a radio campaign for a women’s website called Springboard.ca
